What Is Considered Harassment?
Harassment includes, but is not limited to:
Verbal comments that insult or target someone’s gender, identity, age, race, religion, appearance, or other personal traits Istanbul Guided Tours

Intimidating, stalking, or following someone
Taking photos or videos of someone without their consent
Repeatedly interrupting sessions or social events
Inappropriate physical contact
Unwanted sexual attention
This also applies to any online communication or social media activity related to the congress.
Zero Tolerance Policy
No participant should ever harass another person, in person or online. If someone is asked to stop their behavior, they must do so immediately.
If a participant does not respect this code of conduct, the congress organizers have the right to:
Issue a warning
Remove the person from the event without refund
Ban them from future events
What You Should Do
If you Experience harassment
Witness someone else being harassed
Feel uncomfortable or unsafe for any reason
Please contact a member of the congress staff right away.
How to Identify Staff
Congress staff will be wearing branded clothing and/or official badges. They are trained and ready to help.
They can Contact hotel or venue security
Help you reach local law enforcement
Provide an escort
Assist in any way to make you feel safe during the congress
